Two ways to work with us
v1 taxonomy
For one library or one business unit, with a small stakeholder group.
Enterprise taxonomy
For multiple business units and libraries, where several stakeholder groups have to be brought into agreement.
Pricing is scoped to your library, not published here. Reach out and we will size it for you.
What you get
Both tiers are built around the same named deliverable: the Taxonomy and Permissions Workbook, a colored workbook carrying a Decisions Log (green accepted, yellow edited, red rejected, purple to discuss).
v1 taxonomy
- The Taxonomy and Permissions Workbook
- A facilitated workshop, with the Miro package
- A basic governance and naming framework
Enterprise taxonomy
- Everything in the v1 tier
- Substantially more workshops, focused on combining multiple existing taxonomies into one enterprise taxonomy
Timeline and what we need from you
v1 taxonomy
Two to three weeks, published.
Enterprise taxonomy
One and a half to two months, roughly six to eight weeks.
The enterprise tier means roughly four times the meetings and internal work of the v1 tier, since it reconciles multiple stakeholder groups instead of one.
Already have a taxonomy?
v1 taxonomy
We start with what you have. The workbook builds on your existing structure instead of starting from a blank page.
Enterprise taxonomy
We reconcile what already exists into one system. You are not starting over, you are aligning what is already there.
Who this is for
v1 taxonomy
Right for you if you have one library or one business unit, with a small stakeholder group.
Not right for you if multiple business units or libraries need to agree on one system. That is the enterprise tier.
Enterprise taxonomy
Right for you if multiple business units or libraries, and several stakeholder groups, need to be brought into agreement on one system.
Not right for you if you only have one library or business unit. The v1 tier covers that for less.
