Summary of Position

Title: Digital Asset Manager

Supervised By: DAM Director

Supervises: Non-supervisory role

Status: Full Time, 40hr/week, FLSA Exempt, Salaried

 

Compensation: Salary range negotiable, between $62,000-$75,000, Annual salary commensurate with candidate's qualifications and related experience.

Location: Fully Remote 

(Must be located in: TN, VA, MA, PA)

Job Responsibilities

A successful DAM Manager at Stacks cares deeply about helping clients build, maintain, and grow their digital asset management programs. DAM Managers balance both the high-level strategic requirements of our clients as well as the in-the-trenches administrative work required to keep programs running smoothly from day to day. 

DAM Manager’s love having their hands in a lot of different projects and tasks at once. They enjoy doing everything from leading workshops with clients to enriching thousands of digital assets. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Drive client engagements, ensuring the successful implementation and ongoing development of DAM programs.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell additional services.
  • Facilitate regular client calls, steering discussions with ease and maintaining high levels of communication and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with external and partner teams to ensure the smooth execution of client projects, from strategy to implementation.
  • Analyze client needs and provide strategic recommendations for optimizing their digital asset management processes.
  • Maintain an understanding of the DAM industry to ensure the application of best practices and the ability to suggest relevant enhancements.
  • Lead client workshops 
  • Design and implement workflows to support asset creation, management, and distribution
  • Organize, enrich, and ingest digital assets using different tools across various DAM systems
  • Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with key client stakeholders 
  • Develop DAM best practices and governance guidelines to ensure the security, accuracy, and accessibility of digital assets
  • Attend Zoom meetings with cameras turned on as much as possible

 

Qualifications:

  • Highly organized with persistent attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead client meetings confidently and effectively.
  • Ability to identify client needs and suggest tailored solutions, including upsell opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; you thrive in client-facing roles and enjoy building and maintaining relationships.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
  • A "people-pleaser" mindset with a passion for exceeding client expectations and delivering top-notch service.
  • Experience with creative digital assets (Photos, videos, design files, audio files, etc)
  • 2+ years of working experience in the DAM industry; leading and/or executing strategic and tactical DAM-related projects
  • Experience being part of a team, working cross-departmentally and engaging directly with clients on projects.
  • Motivated self-starter who can work independently
  • Ability to thrive and work effectively as part of a small team in a fast-paced and rapidly growing program
  • Must be able to meet deadlines

We offer a fully remote workplace environment with a casual dress code and a focus on having fun as we grow together. Employees currently work from home but, depending on location and position status, in-person working sessions are held regularly and an annual working retreat is held for all staff.
