Summary of Position

Title: Digital Asset Manager

Supervised By: DAM Director

Supervises: Non-supervisory role

Status: Full Time, 40hr/week, FLSA Exempt, Salaried

 

Compensation: Salary range negotiable, beginning at $60,000. Annual salary commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and related experience.

Location: Fully Remote 

(Preferred states: OR, TN, TX, VA, MA)

Job Responsibilities

A successful DAM Manager on our implementation team is someone who can balance both the high level strategic requirements of our clients as well as the in the trenches administrative work required to keep projects running smoothly day to day. They should be ambitious, scrappy, curious and enjoy being in the driver’s seat.

DAM Managers on the implementation team lead multiple client engagements and are responsible for the day-to-day activities to make our projects a success. Their leadership, vision and communication skills are critical to the success of every project we do.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with the DAM strategists to develop, execute, and refine digital asset management processes and workflows
  • Lead client engagements from discovery to completion
  • Lead client workshops, DAM training sessions, user interviews and other relevant client meetings 
  • Oversee the ingestion, organization, and distribution of digital assets
  • Design and implement workflows to support asset creation, management, and distribution.
  • Troubleshoot any issues with the DAM system, resolve problems and communicate with stakeholders as necessary.
  • Develop, maintain and grow relationships with key client stakeholders 
  • Organization and culling of digital files (Photos, Videos, Design Files, Videos, etc) for one or many clients / Brands
  • Develop  Taxonomies and metadata standards specific to a client / brand and the DAM platform
  • Accurate application of metadata to digital assets and publication of these digital assets according to folder structure or category to the client’s DAM platform
  • Quality Control and review of assets after curation 
  • Strategic and analytical thinking 
  • Attend zoom meetings with Cameras turned on as much as possible

 

Qualifications:

  • Highly organized with persistent attention to detail
  • Experience with creative digital assets (Photos, videos, design files, audio files, etc)
  • 2+ years of working experience in the DAM industry; leading and/or executing strategic and tactical DAM-related projects
  • Experience leading teams, working cross-departmentally and engaging directly with clients on projects.
  • Motivated self-starter who can work independently
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and spoken communication skills and loves to use them
  • Ability to build rapport with clients, partners, and co-workers with diplomacy and customer-service orientation
  • Ability to thrive and work effectively as part of a small team in a fast-paced and rapidly growing program
  • Must be able to meet deadlines.

We offer a fully remote workplace environment with a casual dress code and a focus on having fun as we grow together. Employees currently work from home but, depending on location and position status, in-person working sessions are held regularly and an annual working retreat is held for all full-time staff.
